Apply for the Skin Health Practice Enrichment Series

Applications for the Skin Health Practice Enrichment Series are accepted throughout the year.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all elements of the application have been received by the Wound, Ostomy & Continence Institute office. Please contact the program administrator registrar@wocinstitute.ca with any questions regarding your application.

Please note that the personal information collected during application and maintained as part of a student’s records will be used for the purposes of admission, registration, and issuing receipts, graduation certificates and for Wound, Ostomy & Continence Institute research and planning. Contact information will also be disclosed to Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC) for the purpose of providing membership information. Personal information will not be shared with any other business or organization.

Who Can Apply:

The Wound, Ostomy and Continence Institute Skin Health Practice Enrichment Series is open to all health care professionals.

How to Apply

Step 1: Register with NSWOC as a “Registrant of the Skin Health Practice Enrichment Series”

In order to apply, please click the link below. You will be brought to the NSWOCC members-only page to begin your registration with NSWOCC. Please choose “Skin Health Practice Enrichment Series Associate” from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Register for a Course

Once you complete your registration, you will have access to the members-only area. On the left hand side of the NSWOCC members-only section home page, you will see a list of buttons under “I would like to:”

  1. Select “Register for Courses”.
  2. Select the course you’d like to register for by selecting “Add”, then choose “Register” at the bottom.

Step 3: Complete the Prerequisites

Each course has a list of prerequisites needed in order to complete your application to the program. The prerequisites are displayed in a list with a description under each one for your convenience when applying.
